We've just closed the loop on our first major third-party data integration: Companyinfo.nl is now live within Mindro.

This isn't just another data pull. It's the first step in a broader strategy to provide our Agentic AI workflows with the high-fidelity "ground truth" required for sophisticated M&A operations. Our goal is to move deal teams away from manual data entry and toward an environment where AI acts as a true reasoning engine, capable of autonomous planning and execution.

For too long, M&A professionals have been constrained by fragmented data sources, manual validation processes, and the time-consuming work of compiling foundational intelligence. Junior associates spend countless hours pulling company records, cross-referencing financials, mapping ownership structures, and screening for data correctness. It's critical work—but it's also ripe for automation.

Building the Data Spine for Agentic M&A

Currently, this integration is live by transforming the CompanyInfo XML Webservice API into an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This allows our agents to interact directly with the data source through a standardized interface. This will further standardize how our agents interact with external datasets, making the connection between LLM reasoning and professional-grade data virtually plug-and-play.

MCP represents a paradigm shift in how AI systems access and reason over external information. Rather than building bespoke integrations for every data source, MCP enables a unified interface—allowing our agents to seamlessly query, retrieve, and act on data from multiple providers. This means faster deployment, better reliability, and more sophisticated multi-source reasoning.

With CompanyInfo as our first integration, we're laying the foundation for a much larger ecosystem of professional-grade data sources that will power the next generation of deal workflows.

What This Means for M&A Teams

With this integration, Mindro agents can now autonomously execute the high-stakes research tasks that usually consume dozens of junior associate hours:

  • Financial Intelligence: Agents directly retrieve annual accounts, revenue, and income statements. This provides the foundational data for automated valuation modeling, solvency checks, and trend analysis—without manual exports or spreadsheet gymnastics.

  • Structural Insights: Through automated analysis of corporate registries and ownership databases, agents can diagram complex group structures, pinpoint ultimate beneficial owners, and determine who ultimately controls an entity, including through layered international structures.

  • Data Correctness Validation: Agents cross-reference multiple data points to verify accuracy and flag inconsistencies—ensuring that the intelligence you're working with is reliable, up-to-date, and actionable from day one.

These capabilities don't just save time—they fundamentally change what's possible. Deal teams can now run deeper, more frequent due diligence checks across larger portfolios. They can surface insights that would have been missed in manual reviews. And they can do it all while maintaining the rigor and precision that high-stakes transactions demand.

A Vision for the Future of Deal Intelligence

This is the first of many integrations that will power Mindro's agentic workflows. We are building the data spine for the next generation of deal teams—enabling boutique and midsized firms to operate with the analytical depth and operational leverage of a global powerhouse.

In our view, AI should not just assist—it should reason, plan, and execute. That is only possible if the agents properly understand context, and make judgment calls based on the same high-quality data that top-tier analysts rely on. And it should do so in a way that is transparent, auditable, and aligned with the strategic goals of the firm.

The CompanyInfo integration is our proof of concept. It demonstrates that agentic AI, when paired with trusted data sources, can operate at a level of sophistication that was previously unimaginable outside of the largest advisory firms.

And we're just getting started.

What's Next

In the coming months, we'll be expanding our integrations to include additional financial databases, regulatory sources, proprietary data providers, and industry-specific intelligence platforms. Each new source will deepen the reasoning capabilities of our agents and expand the scope of what they can accomplish autonomously.

We're also investing heavily in agent orchestration—enabling multi-agent collaboration where different AI personas can specialize in financial analysis, legal risk, operational due diligence, and more, all working together within a unified workflow.

For firms looking to scale their M&A operations without scaling headcount, this is the future. And it's arriving faster than most people realize.

More to come. Keep building.
